Nicolas Torre III and acting Davao City Mayor Sebastian &quot;Baste&quot; Duterte.</p><p>Police personnel were already visible around the venue past 4 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, providing perimeter security for the potential match scheduled at 9 a.m.</p><p>Several undercard bouts are also expected to take place, all aimed at raising funds for those affected by the recent week of heavy rainfall and floods.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/7/24/torre-says-rizal-memorial-coliseum-ready-for-boxing-match-vs-baste-duterte-1649"><strong>Torre says Rizal Memorial Coliseum ready for boxing match vs Baste Duterte<br/></strong></a></div><p>The supposed charity match was prompted by Duterte challenging PNP chief Torre to a fistfight, which Torre accepted by proposing a charity boxing match to raise funds for disaster relief.</p><p>Duterte, who flew out of the country on Friday morning, has since set conditions, including for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to take a hair follicle drug tests, for the fight that he challenged Torre to to take place. </p><p>Police Brig. Gen.
