Domingo/Senate Social Media Unit </div>MANILA (UPDATED) -- Senator Rodante Marcoleta, an ally of former President Rodrigo Duterte, on Tuesday got the chairmanship of the powerful Senate Blue Ribbon Committee in the reorganization of the Senate in the 20th Congress.Officially the Accountability of Public Officers and Investigations, the panel is tasked to probe government anomalies.Marcoleta also got the chairmanship of the Committee on Trade, Commerce and Entrepreneurship.Senator Alan Peter Cayetano has so far netted the most number of committee chairmanships under Senate President Francis Escudero in the 20th Congress.Cayetano retained his current chairmanships of the Accounts Committee, Higher, Technical and Vocational Education  Committee, and Science and Technology  while also landing the Justice and Human Rights Committee.Senator Pia Cayetano got the chairmanships of the Ways and Committee and Sustainable Development Goals, Innovation and Futures Thinking Committee while retaining her chairmanship of the Committee on Energy.Senator Robin Padilla retained his chairmanship of the Constitutional Amendments and Revision of Codes  Committee, Cultural Communities and Muslim Affairs  Committee and Public Information and Mass Media Committee.Senator Imee Marcos retained her chairmanships of the Cooperatives Committee and the Foreign Relations  Committee while also taking the Labor, Employment and Human Resources Development  Committee.Senator Bong Go retained his chairmanship of the committee on Health and Demography  and Sports Committee and Youth Committee.Senator JV Ejercito retained his chairmanship of the Local Government Committee while taking the Committee on Tourism.Senator Raffy Tulfo retained his chairmanships of the Migrant Workers and Public Services Panels.Senator Erwin Tulfo is the chairman of the Games and Amusement  Committee and Social Justice, Welfare and Rural Development  Committee.Senator Francis Pangilinan got the Agriculture, Food and Agrarian Reform  Committee while Senator Bam Aquino got the Basic Education Committee.Senator Camille Villar got the chairmanship of the Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change.Senator Sherwin Gatchalian landed the chairmanship of the Finance Committee, tasked to tackle the annual National Budget.In addition to being Senate President Pro Tempore, Senator Jinggoy Estrada also retained his chairmanship of the National Defense and Security, Peace, Unification and Reconciliation  Committee.Senator Ronald dela Rosa retained his chairmanship of the Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs.Senator Mark Villar takes the Public Works Panel. He was previously Secretary of Public Works and Highways.On Wednesday, members of the Senate minority landed committee chairmanships.Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri is chairman of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Senator Panfilo Lacson is Chairman of the Committee on Electoral Reforms and People’s Participation, and Senator Risa Hontiveros keeps her chairmanship of the Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality.
