PCSO</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) chairman Felix Reyes, a retired Regional Trial Court judge, denied Wednesday that he fixed cases for businessman Charlie &quot;Atong&quot; Ang, following allegations by a so-called whistleblower in the missing sabungeros case.</p><p>Dondon Patidongan, the whistleblower also known as “Totoy”, told ABS-CBN News last week that Reyes allegedly travelled abroad with prosecutors and other judges to bribe them so that Ang would not get charged with cases involving the missing sabungeros.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/6/26/doj-to-reach-out-to-supreme-court-on-missing-sabungeros-case-1343">DOJ to reach out to Supreme Court on missing sabungeros case</a></div><p>“I categorically deny such wild accusations of Mr. Patidongan. I dare him to identify any specific case of Mr. Atong Ang or anything related to the Sabungero Case, which I understand is still pending in court, that I fixed or settled to the advantage of Mr. Ang,” Reyes said.</p><p>“If Mr. Patidongan cannot substantiate his accusation of case-fixing, I ask him to shut up,” he added.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/7/8/sc-on-missing-sabungeros-case-action-will-be-taken-if-necessary-1441">SC on &#x27;missing sabungeros&#x27; case: Action will be taken, if necessary</a></div><p>Reyes said he would authorize the Bureau of Immigration to disclose his overseas trips from the time he retired from the judiciary in October 2021.</p><p>“I find it perhaps, a rare coincidence that these wild accusations of Mr. Patidongan came out a day after I filed my application for the position of Ombudsman,” he added.</p><p>Reyes said he was “ready and willing to cooperate in any Investigation” to shed light on the “baseless allegations” and “spare the judiciary and the prosecution service from the undeserved tarnishing of these institutions.”</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/7/6/wrap-flurry-of-allegations-revives-dormant-missing-sabungeros-case-2204">WRAP: Flurry of allegations revives dormant ‘missing sabungeros’ case</a></div><p>Reyes is a former president of the Philippine Judges Association.
