MANILA -- The Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and other government agencies and its partners have launched a website that will allow the public to monitor and evaluate all existing flood control projects.Dubbed as Digital Information for Monitoring and Evaluation (DIME), DBM secretary Amenah Pangandaman signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with DICT secretary Henry Aguda, Department of Transportation (DOTr) secretary Vince Dizon and MMDA chairman Atty. Romando Artes in Pasay City on Wednesday, August 27.This is different from the “Sumbong sa Pangulo” website, Pangandman said.&quot;Lahat ng makikita nyo sa General Appropriations Act nandoon &#x27;yan. Hindi lang DPWH, even with DOTr, yung mga infrastructure projects, DepEd- school buildings, makikita din. MMDA, DICT eventually makikita natin yung mga satellite na nandiyan,&quot; he said.&quot;Ito kasi makikita ng tao. First, hindi na kami kailangan lahat pumunta sa lugar, tapos naka-post sa website yung implementation ng bawat project, third- yung citizens participation, I mean, hindi lang siya sumbong… The citizen can also cooperate and collaborate with the national government.&quot;Through <a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.dime.gov.ph/">dime.gov.ph</a>, Pangandaman said, the public can just search the name of the particular project to see its progress.DBM is also in collaboration with Prof. Mahar Lagmay of UP Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards (UP NOAH).
