Lawmakers witnessed the transition, which marks a significant political shift in the lower chamber. <em>Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News&nbsp;</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA &mdash; House Speaker Faustino &ldquo;Bojie&rdquo; Dy III is open to disclosing his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth &ldquo;if needed,&rdquo; as he backed calls for members of Congress to do so.</p><p>He issued the statement amid allegations of corruption in flood control projects.</p><p>&ldquo;Yes, kung kailangan ipakita ang ating SALN, why not?&rdquo; Dy said on Monday.</p><p>&ldquo;Sa tingin ko naman sa ngayon, kailangan talaga&hellip; makita nila ang ating mga miyembro at hindi lang dito sa miyembro ng ating mababang kapulungan, dito sa Kongreso, ay lahat dapat talagang makita at maging bukas ang SALN ng bawat isa para sa ganoon talagang ipakita natin sa ating mga kababayan, at manumbalik ang pagtitiwala sa atin,&rdquo; he added.</p><p>The House Speaker said the lower chamber&rsquo;s focus for now is in ensuring that the proposed 2026 national budget will be transparent, and every peso will be spent on projects that will benefit the public.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/9/22/house-leaders-to-discuss-next-move-if-zaldy-co-fails-to-come-home-1451">House leaders to discuss next move if Zaldy Co fails to come home</a></div><p>&ldquo;Sama-sama nating bantayan ang proposed budget na ito ng matiyak na tama ang paglalaanan ng pondo ng bawat sentimo para po sa ating sambayanan,&rdquo; Dy said.</p><p>&ldquo;Maraming natanggal na mga flood control projects po. Pero kung ito naman talagang kakailanganin, ayon nga sa&hellip; &lsquo;yung app sa NOAH, doon malalaman kung talagang &lsquo;yung area ay kailangan ng mga flood control.
