<p>A lawyer has claimed that she neither notarized nor signed the sworn statement of Orly Regala Guteza, the former security consultant of Rep. Zaldy Co, who appeared before the Senate Blue Ribbon committee yesterday.</p><p>Atty. Petchie Rose Espera informed ABS-CBN through a letter that the use of her name in the sworn statement as the one who notarized the document was “spurious.”</p><p>ABS-CBN has reached out to Espera for an interview but she refused. </p><p>ABS-CBN has also reached out to Senate Blue Ribbon committee chairman Panfilo Lacson and to Senator Rodante Marcoleta for a comment but they have yet to give a response.</p><p>Espera has asked that Guteza’s sworn statement posted on social media be taken down. </p><p>The sworn statement was submitted to the committee as evidence in the ongoing investigation into anomalous flood projects amounting to billions of pesos.</p><p>Guteza’s sworn statement was distributed to the Senate media.</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/axmpAlbMKc4??si=4fEYygxNdg9WFMn6&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
