'Impostor' nabbed in NAIA

A suspected &quot;impostor&quot; was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 recently.The Bureau of Immigration (BI) identified the suspect as Nimo Ahmed Hassan, 21-years-old, a female holder of a Swedish passport.She was referred for secondary inspection by primary immigration officers.Hassan attempted to depart for Italy via a Qatar Airways flight when officers noted discrepancies in her passport.While the passport itself was found to be authentic, Immigration officers were able to trace through biometric face-referencing technology that the holder was not the rightful owner of the document. She was found to originate from East Africa, although investigation remains ongoing to establish her true identity and locate her actual travel documents.Hassan was immediately arrested and brought to the BI’s holding facility where she shall remain while facing deportation proceedings. <div>  </div>
