<div><br/></div><p>MANILA<strong> (UPDATE) </strong>— The Lipa City Regional Trial Court Branch 13 has issued an arrest warrant against businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang and others for their non-bailable kidnapping with homicide cases in connection with the case of the missing sabungeros.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/1/14/arrest-warrant-vs-atong-ang-out-1127">Arrest warrant vs Atong Ang out in &#x27;missing sabungeros&#x27; case</a></div><p>In the order of Presiding Judge Pamela Chavez-Izon dated January 15, 2026, the court addressed the order to “any officer of the law.”</p><p>Aside from Ang, also ordered arrested were Ryan Jay Orapa, Alfredo Andes, Henry Sasaluya, Farby Dela Curz, Angel Joseph Martin, Joey Encarnacion, Aaron Ezrah Cabillan, Michael Claveria, Renan Fulgencio, Philip Almedilla, Arturo Dela Cruz, Jr., Mark Anthony Manrique, Anderson Abary, Edmon Muñoz, Rogelio Borican Jr., Rodel Anig-ig, Mark Carlo Zabala, Jezrel Mahilum, Emman Falle and Julios Gumolon. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/9/doj-indicts-atong-ang-on-multiple-counts-of-kidnapping-1849">DOJ indicts Atong Ang on multiple counts of kidnapping</a></div><p>In her order, Chavez-Izon required the arresting officers to use at least one body-worn camera and another alternative recording device, pursuant to the Supreme Court rules on the execution of warrants.</p><p>Aside from the 6 counts of kidnapping with homicide before the Lipa City RTC Branch 13, Ang and his co-accused are also facing 4 counts of kidnapping with homicide and 15 counts of kidnapping and serious illegal detention before the Sta. Cruz Regional Trial Court Branch 26 which has earlier issued an arrest order.</p><p>The Department of Justice is also monitoring the San Pablo, Laguna Regional Trial Court for the possible issuance of another arrest warrant.</p><p>Last year, the Department of Justice filed a total of  10 counts of kindapping with homicide and 16 counts of kidnapping and serious illegal detention before the three RTCs.</p><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><p>.</p>
