I’m feeling very different from the way I was feeling before. Naayos na ‘yung problema. What happened was, apparently, I now have diverticulitis,” he said.</p><p>“It’s a common complaint amongst, apparently, people who are heavily stressed and people who are, I have to admit, growing old,” Marcos noted.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/1/22/palace-marcos-underwent-medical-observation-after-experiencing-discomfort-1208">Palace: Marcos underwent medical observation after experiencing &#x27;discomfort&#x27;</a></div><p>Castro can be heard on the video saying that Marcos was “overworked” with his doctors advising him to rest, to which the President responded, “No. Well, yeah. Of course, lagi namang sinasabi ng doktor sa’kin ‘yun eh pero paano mo naman gagawin ‘yun. Ang daming trabaho.”</p><p>Asked by Castro for his message for those who allegedly want him gone from his post, Marcos said with a laugh, “‘Wag kayo munang masyadong excited dahil it’s not a life-threatening condition.” </p><p>“The rumors of my death are highly exaggerated,” he added.   </p><div><iframe width="1200" height="675" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ufTcxz_hJSk" title="Marcos spent night under medical observation, Palace says | ABS-CBN News" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>
