Handout/Ako Bicol Party List</div>MANILA — Ako Bicol Party List third nominee Jan Franz Almario Chan has taken his oath of office as House member during plenary session on Monday.Chan replaced former Ako Bicol Party List Representative Zaldy Co.Co resigned from his post last September, following allegations linking him to irregularities in flood control projects.Hailing from Rapu-Rapu, Albay, Chan finished his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila University. He also took his Master of Laws degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also received a Certificate of Specialization in Energy and Clean Technology, focusing on energy law, renewable energy, corporate finance, environmental justice and international trade.Upon taking his oath of office, Chan said he will focus on energy, youth, health, education, livelihood and social services sectors, which he believes are important pillars in improving the quality of life of Filipinos, particularly of Bicolanos.
