President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. meets with the Filipino community in Busan at the Wyndham Grand Busan on October 30, 2025, as he begins his official activities in the Republic of Korea ahead of the 32nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting.

Ang galing ng mga doktor ko. Binigyan lang ako ng mga gamot at saka  patuloy pa rin yung aking antibiotics pero okay na ako,&quot; the President said.</p><p>&quot;I got the best possible medical care that you can have, that&#x27;s why I&#x27;m already back in harness,&quot; he said.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/1/28/marcos-skips-another-event-after-diverticulitis-diagnosis-0928">READ: Marcos &#x27;recovering&#x27; from diverticulitis, to focus on &#x27;critical duties&#x27; — officials</a></div><p>Marcos Jr. said he was unable to attend an early morning event in the Palace on January 28 because he underwent a fresh check-up.</p><p>&quot;Hindi ako nakarating dahil mayroon pa akong gagawin. Pinapunta ako, nag-konsulta na nandito yung mga doktor,&quot; the Chief Executive said.</p><p>&quot;Nag-konsulta sila para tingnan na talagang maayos kasi nangre-reklamo sila na dapat magpahinga ako,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;Medyo nagtatampo sa akin yung mga doktor ko kasi sinasabi nila, huwag muna, huwag muna, sabi ko hindi ko naman pwede pag-antayin lahat ng mga nangyayari so tinuloy ko na lang,&quot; he said.</p><p>Apart from antibiotics, Marcos Jr. was also advised to go on a soft diet.</p><p>&quot;Kailangan for a few days, hindi ko pwedeng kumain ng solid food para matanggalan ng stress yung bituka mo so puro sabaw lang ako,&quot; he said,</p><p>&quot;Nanaginip ako, nakakain ako ng steak.
