The uploader added that it took them 30 minutes before they were able to board a train. Commuters raised safety concerns due to the incident.</p><p>The operator released a statement addressing this.</p><p>&quot;The DOTr-MRT-3 sincerely apologizes to our passengers for the congestion and inconvenience they experienced yesterday morning, January 5, around 7:25 a.m.,&quot; it said.</p><p>&quot;We acknowledge the concerns raised from the video circulating online and recognize that passengers were allowed to access the platform despite existing congestion, resulting in overcrowding when the incoming train arrived. We fully understand the discomfort and safety concerns this has caused and take responsibility for the situation,&quot; it added.</p><p>To prevent similar incidents, the operator said it was intensifying monitoring and coordination to &quot;improve crowd management and ensure a safer, more orderly commute, especially during peak hours.&quot;</p><div><br/></div><p>.</p>
