<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17701871157631770187114317.jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. answers media questions, August 8, 2025. <em>Noel Pabalate, PPA pool </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Around 40 percent of adult Filipinos were satisfied with the performance of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as president at the end of 2025, a new non-commissioned Social Weather Stations survey released Tuesday suggested.</p><p>In its report, SWS added that 17 percent of those 1,200 polled from November 24-30, 2025, were undecided while 43 percent were dissatisfied with Marcos&#x27; performance.</p><p>The pollster also said that compared to September 2025, Filipino adults&#x27; gross satisfaction with Marcos &quot;hardly moved&quot; from 39 percent, noting that gross undecided stayed at 17 percent while gross dissatisfaction barely changed from 44 percent.</p><p>Marcos&#x27; resulting net satisfaction rating — or when the percentage of those dissatisfied is subtracted from those satisfied — meanwhile is -3, which was classified by SWS as neutral.</p><p>&quot;This is a two-point increase from neutral -5 in September 2025, following a steep decline from moderate +10 in June 2025,&quot; SWS said.</p><p>Meanwhile, SWS said Marcos&#x27; net satisfaction rating was highest in Balance Luzon at moderate +13, followed by the Visayas at neutral +2, Metro Manila at poor -17, and Mindanao at poor -29.</p><p>The Marcos administration has come under heavy criticism from the Mindanao-based Duterte clan and its allies since Vice President Sara Duterte broke from the defunct UniTeam alliance.</p><p>When compared to September 2025, Filipinos&#x27; net satisfaction with Marcos rose by 10 points from neutral -8 in the Visayas and by 5 points from neutral +8 in Balance Luzon. </p><p>SWS noted however that it fell by 15 points from neutral -2 in Metro Manila while it hardly changed from poor -28 in Mindanao.</p><p>The survey has a margin of error of ±3 percent.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>DECEMBER WR NUMERO RATING LOWEST SINCE 2022</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>A separate poll by public opinion firm WR Numero found in December 2025 that Marcos&#x27; satisfaction rating <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/4/marcos-satisfaction-rating-falls-to-its-lowest-since-taking-office-wr-numero-0930">fell to its lowest</a> since he assumed office.</p><p>Marcos&#x27; performance satisfaction score was down to 21 percent, WR Numero&#x27;s November 2025 poll showed. </p><p>The figure represented a 14-percentage-point drop from August 2025 and was the &quot;steepest decline&quot; since February 2025, it said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/26/marcos-trust-rating-dips-sara-duterte-s-score-up-in-new-sws-survey-1624">Marcos&#x27; trust rating dips; Sara Duterte&#x27;s score up in new SWS survey</a></div><p>During the last months of 2025, Marcos and his aides faced accusation of wrongdoing in connection with the flood control corruption scandal — which they have denied — despite being credited for bringing the issue to light.</p><p>He now faces the threat of impeachment with <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/2/4/house-panel-decides-whether-marcos-impeach-complaints-have-substance-1013">two complaints</a> filed against him before the House of Representatives.</p>
