Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News/File</div>MANILA -- Jeepney driver Zaldy Manalo lined up early Wednesday at the Quezon Memorial Circle for the cash aid payout from the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Land Franchising and Regulatory Board, only to find out that he was not included in the master list of beneficiaries.“Wala, luhaan. Wala kami sa listahan ng makakatanggap ng ayuda dahil, wala raw yung listahan namin sa LTFRB. Siyempre, dismayado dahil yung pagod mo, effort mo pumunta rito,” Manalo told ABS-CBN News.The DSWD and the LTFRB on Wednesday assured they would continue to iron out the master list of public utility transport drivers as the cash relief distribution continues.&quot;Meron talagang laging nawawala sa list sa mga pinuntahan ko. So ang magiging solusyon namin, nag-agree kami ni chairman Vigor. After today, DSWD will go with the LTFRB sa bawat LGU, isusuma-tutal natin kung ilan yung nawawala at kung bakit nawawala. Hindi ito ang unang araw at huli na makikita n’yo kami,” DSWD secretary Rex Gatchalian told reporters.According to DSWD, about 23,000 to more than 24,000 qualified PUJ drivers in Metro Manila will receive a P5,000 each.A total of 14 cities and 1 municipality in the National Capital Region (NCR) simultaneously distributed DSWD’s cash aid except Marikina City and Muntinlupa City.“Nag-reschedule tayo ng payout para sa fuel subsidy ng jeepney drivers dahil hindi tayo pumayag na iilan lang ang mabibigyan habang may mga jeepney driver sa Marikina na hindi ma lang naisama sa listahan,” Marikina City mayor Maan Teodoro posted in her official social media page.PUJ driver Ricardo Sulit said that he was informed by their Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) president through their group chat about the postponement of the cash aid distribution supposedly scheduled on Wednesday.”Ang sabi ngayon, pero na-postpone. Hindi pa namin alam kung talagang tuloy yun. Kaya kung kailan na lang namin makuha. Ngayon, hindi kami pumila kasi nga yung presidente namin, nag-ano sa GC namin na hindi tuloy pero yung mga kasama namin nagpunta don kanina, puro ho sila nadismaya,” said Sulit.Meanwhile, also on Wednesday, TNVS driver Gil Ibarra lost his temper at the payout center of the agency in Quezon City.“Kahapon nandito kami, oh sige sabi ko babalik. Ngayon eto nakabalk na kami PUJ daw. Saan ko hahanapin yung nagturo sa akin na bumalik dito? Ngayon kung hindi naman na, sana hindi na lang pinabalik kung wala akong aasahan - halagang limanlibo magko-colapse ka pa rito. Pasensiya na ho, na-highblood ho ako,” Ibarra told DSWD officials.Gatchalian immediately explained the situation and promised to look after his concern and other drivers with the same problem.“Pasensiya ho, hindi ko alam sino nagsabi na TNVS ngayon. Ngayon araw ho ng jeep. Ganito na lang ho, sisiguraduhin namin na makuha lahat ng detalye n’yo ‘pag TNVS na…ino-notify namin yung TNC ‘nyo para sa tamang oras at sa tamang araw kayo pumunta,” Gatchalian told Ibarra.Cash payout for TNVS drivers were held last Tuesday.
