The intelligence reports, you have to weigh them kung tama o hindi. So it’s a very nuanced business, it’s very hard to explain but we are now involving other international, multinational, partnerships to go for the hunt of Atong Ang,” he explained.Remulla also confirmed the use of advanced technology, including satellites.Coordination with Interpol is underway, with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) already providing templates for applying for a red notice, expected to be submitted next week through the Philippine Center on Transnational Crime.In addition, the Philippine National Police will shift from helicopter—which cost around P50,000 per hour—to drones, which are far more cost-efficient at roughly P3,000 per hour and equipped with more sophisticated technology.The manhunt for Atong Ang is expected to intensify in the coming weeks as both local and international agencies coordinate to track down the fugitive.
