Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News/File</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA<strong> (UPDATE) </strong>— Contractor Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya, among the figures in the flood control scam controversy, has been brought to a hospital, his lawyer confirmed to ABS-CBN News on Thursday. </p><p>In a text message, Discaya&#x27;s lawyer Cornelio Samaniego III said: &quot;Madami nararamdaman, sir. Almost 7 months na sya nakakulong.&quot;</p><p>Senate President Vicente Sotto III confirmed that Discaya underwent MRI for frozen shoulder and that the hospital visit was short.
