Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News<br/></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Supporters of Vice President Sara Duterte on Monday called on the Supreme Court to issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the House of Representatives ahead of the April 14 impeachment hearing at the Committee on Justice.</p><p>The group staged a rally outside the High Court, questioning the basis of the impeachment complaint filed against Duterte.</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F2835707486791781%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0" width="560" height="314" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></div><p>Eduardo Laurencio, one of the protesters, claimed the complaint lacks evidence.</p><p>“Walang ebidensya. Bakit kinakailangan magkaroon ng mini-trial? Wala silang karapatan doon. Sa Senado doon magkaroon ng bloodbath, ang sinasabi ni VP Sara,” he said, echoing the Vice President’s earlier remarks.</p><p>The House Committee on Justice is set to resume hearings on the impeachment complaint against Duterte on April 14.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>&#x27;TATAY DIGONG&#x27;</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>The group also urged the SC to act on habeas corpus petitions seeking the return of former President Rodrigo Duterte from The Hague.</p><p>Laurencio argued that any legal proceedings against the former president should be conducted in the Philippines.</p><p>“Gumagana ang hustisya sa Pilipinas. Bakit sa ibang bansa ipapaubaya ang paglilitis ng ating dating Presidente?
