MANILA — The House Committee on Justice will discuss if it will invite fomer Ombudsman Samuel Martires, as well as Col. Raymund Lachica and Col. Dennis Nolasco to its impeachment hearing against Vice President Sara Duterte, according to panel member Rep. Terry Ridon.He said the committee is open to hearing the side of the three and others implicated by Ramil Madriaga, the self-confessed bagman of VP Duterte, in the alleged misuse of the OVP’s confidential funds.“Pwede namin pag usapan po ‘yun sa mga susunod na pagdinig kung i-invite or i-subpoena po ‘yung mga napangalanan…Siyempre may karapatan din naman sila na makasagot din formally…and sila, if they aggrieved, they can actually go to the committee and request that they appear before the committee to say their truth,” Ridon said.He said he has reviewed the Facebook page of ISIP Pilipinas and its regional chapters, including its Binangonan, Rizal branch, where posts showed the group promoting the party-list for which former OVP Spokesperson Reynold Munsayac was the first nominee in the 2022 national elections.
