Bawal na ang maglatag ng mga silya at mga lamesa sa mga kalye at mag-inuman. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, acting director of the PNP Directorate for Operations.&quot;This is in line with the directive of the President to the PNP and he says, and I quote, &#x27;Don&#x27;t just cut crimes, make people safe at all times,&quot; he added. National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) MGen. Kagaya po sa BGC dito sa Makati, sa Pasay, sa Malate, at sa Paranaque,&quot; Aberin said. &quot;Since we deployed those PNP personnel, nagkaroon po ng konting drop po dun sa crime incidents po na mga binabantayan po natin,&quot; he stressed. PNP Chief PGen Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the initiative is part of broader efforts to ensure safe streets and public spaces for residents, students, and commuters. &quot;We will be implementing not only those provincial ordinances dun sa road clearing, but also to wait out those nagiging area ng mga nagko-commit ng petty crimes,&quot; Nartatez said. Authorities encouraged citizens to report violations or absence of police personnel in schools via 911.The safer communities initiative will begin in Metro Manila and will later be rolled out to other major urban centers nationwide, in coordination with local governments, barangays, and other law enforcement agencies.
