Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News </span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Vice President Sara Duterte&#x27;s support holds firm as over half of respondents in a WR Numero survey released Tuesday rejected her impeachment, just as the House Justice Committee continued impeachment proceedings against her.</p><p>Out of 1,455 adults polled nationwide from March 10 to 17, 53 percent said they disagreed with her impeachment, while only 32 agreed. Thirteen percent were not sure and 3 percent said they were unaware of the issue.</p><p>However, 46 percent said they did not have enough knowledge of the evidence, while 25 percent said the evidence was weak, 22 percent said the evidence was strong, and 7 percent declined to answer.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/4/6/house-panel-subpoenas-remulla-for-sara-duterte-salns-1313">House panel subpoenas Remulla for Sara Duterte SALNs</a></div><p>Forty-two percent of respondents said lawmakers should consider public opinion in tackling the impeachment. Twenty-nine percent said they should decide based on evidence, 11 percent declined to answer, 9 percent said it should be based on evidence, and 9 percent said it should be decided along alliances.</p><p>“There was a term used by former Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago, that impeachment is sui generis. It means that this is both a legal and political discussion.
