MANILA -- Karl Josef Legazpi was sworn in Wednesday as member of the House of Representatives, representing the Pinoy Workers Party List.The former National Youth Commission Second Commissioner-at-Large replaced Franz Legazpi as House member, after the latter resigned.House Speaker Faustino &quot;Bojie&quot; Dy III administered the oath to Karl Legazpi during the plenary session, following a motion by House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos.&quot;We are in receipt of the proclamation issued by the Commission on Elections declaring Pinoy Workers Party List as winner under the Party List system in the National and Local Elections on the 12 May 2025, and to entitle its nominee, Karl Josef F. Legazpi to sit as its representative in the House of Representatives in the Congress of the Philippines,&quot; Marcos said.&quot;Pursuant to the aforementioned proclamation, I move to allow Karl Josef F. Legazpi, Representative of Pinoy Workers Party List, to take oath in open session.&quot;
