Joel Villanueva over his alleged involvement in the flood control kickback scheme was “ripe” and could be finalized within two weeks.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/1/5/villanueva-submits-counter-affidavit-on-ridiculous-flood-control-cases-1525">Villanueva submits counter-affidavit on &#x27;ridiculous&#x27; flood control cases</a></div><p>&quot;[Sa] lalong madaling panahon mafa-file na rin namin yung kay Sen. Joel Villanueva, yan ang isang hinog na rin, ngunit kailangan puliduhin muna yung pagkakalahad ng ebidensya,&quot; Remulla said.</p><p>“Dalawang linggo pa.
