MANILA — Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano on Friday said the Senate investigation into the flood control scandal will resume next Thursday, June 4.In a Facebook Live video, Cayetano said Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, vice chair of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, will lead the hearing.&quot;A subcommittee will be formed sa flood control... Sen. Marcoleta will issue the notices on Monday para ituloy na Thursday yung flood control scam series,&quot; said Cayetano.Cayetano assured the public that the investigation will be impartial.&quot;We want the whole truth and not only some truth to come out,&quot; he said.Sen. Panfilo Lacson, who previously led the Senate Blue Ribbon Commitee’s inquiry into the scam, has already come up with a partial committee report. But Cayetano said they plan to do more scrutinizing on the case.&quot;Sabi ng Ombudsman merong mastermind, sabi ni Sen. Lacson walang mastermind. Sabi ni Sen. Lacson eto ang dapat imbitahin, sabi naman ni Sen. Marcoleta ito ang dapat imbitahin,&quot; he siad.&quot;In the same manner, like the impeachment, we also have to hold everyone accountable pagdating sa flood control.&quot;Meanwhile, Cayetano also said the Senate is also planning to investigate the incident involving the shooting inside the Senate building that some have speculated was meant to help Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa&#x27;s leave the premises.He said the Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs will lead the investigation.Dela Rosa, subject of an International Criminal Court arrest warrant, is chair of that committee.Cayetano said that his election to the Senate presidency is the first time that Malacañang had no hand in choosing the chamber&#x27;s leadership.&quot;I can dare say this is the first fully independent majority,&quot; he also said.
