Duterte outlines her priorities, including governance reforms, public service continuity, and national development. <em>Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Vice President Sara Duterte allegedly did not declare in her Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) 52 firearms, which she and her husband supposedly own, according to House Impeachment Prosecutor and Bicol Saro Party List Rep.Terry Ridon. </p><p>He claimed these include pistols, rifles, revolvers, and a shotgun, which he estimated to be in the “millions of pesos”.</p><p>The House prosecution plans to present witnesses — who will prove this claim — during Duterte’s impeachment trial.</p><p>These include a representative from the PNP Firearms and Explosives Office, a valuation expert, and the firearms dealer.</p><p>“Bukod po doon sa hindi pag-declare ng cash on hand, cash in bank, sa kanya pong SALN from 2019 to 2025, hindi rin po niya idineklara ‘yung kanya pong pag-aaring mga armas from 2007 up until 2025. So I think, pagpapalakas po ito doon sa punto ng unexplained wealth at SALN violations,” Ridon said.</p><p>Asked whether it is possible that the firearms were lumped in the line item “others”, Ridon said: “I think looking at the &#x27;others&#x27; line item for 2019 to date, tingin ko hindi sila magkakasya doon sa kabuuan po ng &#x27;others&#x27;, kung ganoon po kalaki, halimbawa, ‘yung value ng firearms at ganoon po karami ‘yung pinag-uusapan natin… The point also needs to be made that even previous to 2019, the Vice President did not declare firearms ownership previous to 2019 kung saan mayroon na pong &#x27;others&#x27; na line item.”</p><p>ABS-CBN News reached out to Duterte’s camp for comment, but they have yet to issue a response.</p><div> </div><div><strong>57 WITNESSES</strong></div><p>The House prosecution listed a total of 57 witnesses in the pre-trial brief it submitted before the Senate impeachment court, according to House Impeachment Prosecutor and Manila 3rd District Representative Joel Chua.</p><p>He said many of them are on the articles of impeachment alleging confidential fund misuse and unexplained wealth.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/6/15/prosecution-defense-file-pre-trial-briefs-for-sara-duterte-s-impeachment-trial-2119">Prosecution, defense file pre-trial briefs for Sara Duterte&#x27;s impeachment trial</a></div><p>“May mga hindi na-present sa House hearings na pina-konsider na isama dito. Hindi naman ibig sabihin na porke nakalagay ka dyan ipe-presenta ka na. So, mas maganda na ‘yung sobra ‘yung ilalagay mo kesa sa kulang,” Chua said.</p><p>Ridon said Duterte&#x27;s camp appears to have been compelled to present “a credible defense”, which includes a list of witnesses and documents.</p><p>But he considers “laughable” the issue raised by the defense whether the evidence not attached to any of the impeachment complaints before the House of Representatives should be excluded from the records. </p><p>These include the Anti-Money Laundering Council Report.</p><p>“Tingin ko po, nakakatawa ‘yan. Kasi, ang totoo naman, nothing prevents the House Committee on Justice, nothing prevents the Articles of Impeachment, nothing prevents anyone from actually submitting new evidence, new information, up until the pre-trial proceedings.
