Contributed via Jeanette Ruedas</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA<strong> (UPDATE) </strong>— The Police Regional Office 8 (PRO 8) has filed criminal complaints against the 15-year-old student accused in the shooting at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/regions/2026/6/24/vp-sara-visits-wake-of-tacloban-shooting-victims-assures-families-of-justice-0956">VP Sara visits wake of Tacloban shooting victims, assures families of justice</a></div><p>PRO 8 confirmed to ABS-CBN News that the complaints, including three counts of murder, three counts of frustrated murder, and multiple counts of serious physical injuries, were filed Tuesday night before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Tacloban. </p><p>Three teenagers were killed while 13 others were injured when two students opened fire at the San Jose National High School in Tacloban City, Leyte on Monday morning, police said. </p><p>The other suspect is a 14-year old student of the same school.</p><p>Police said the 14 years old suspect is exempt from criminal liability under existing laws protecting children.
