Noel  Sianosa, AFP</p><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — The police officer who owns the gun used by one of the two teenage suspects in the deadly school shooting in Tacloban City, Leyte said Wednesday that her nephew broke into her home and “forcibly damaged” a locker to get the weapon.</p><p>PSSg. Arla Ray Paciencia said she had kept her 9mm Glock in a gun box inside a locker and that only she had a key to her house. </p><p>The teenager allegedly entered the house through a window, said Tacloban City police chief PCol. Noelito A Getigan.</p><p>“‘Nash’ unlawfully entered my own house… He forcibly damaged my locker; it was locked. My house was locked as well. [It was] a plastic locker and my firearm was inside my gun box. I was the only who had possession of the key to my house,” Paciencia told a Senate hearing.</p><p>The officer admitted that she brought her nephew to a firing range “once.”</p><p>“He told me that he wanted to be a police officer like me. He looked up to me,” she said. </p><p>“He was asking if I could bring him to a firing range.” </p><p>She said she “had no personal knowledge” that minors are banned from firing ranges.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9KtZVMxZqqg?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div><p>“Siguro there’s lesson to be learned here, na dapat tayong mga matatanda responsible gun owner, hindi natin ie-expose sa mga minors na kabataan natin — kahit tayo ay sibilyan man o pulis — yung ipakita natin sa kanila yung mga baril, much more bring them sa mga firing range,” Sen. Raffy Tulfo said.</p><p>The other weapon used in the attack, a revolver, is owned by the grandfather of the other shooter, Eastern Visayas police chief PBGen. Jason Capoy  said. </p><p>The two alleged shooters, aged 15 and 14, “randomly” opened fire at the San Jose National High School on June 22, killing three  teenagers and sending terrified students running for cover.</p><div><br style="caret-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"/></div>
