But again, we are validating this data pa. 10 diyan &#x27;yong sa Sarangani and then 5 from Lanao del Sur and then 2 from Bukidnon,&quot; OCD Deputy Administrator Asec. Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV said.</p><p>Alejandro said most of the reported fatalities were caused by landslides.</p><p>&quot;Ang karamihan doon is due to landslide. In Sarangani, landslide &#x27;yon. &#x27;Yong Lanao is landslide. &#x27;Yong Cotabato, drowning. &#x27;Yong mga tumawid or na-ano ng flash flood,&quot; he said.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/weather-traffic/2026/7/10/inday-enhanced-habagat-rains-spawn-deadly-landslides-1455" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">READ: Inday-enhanced habagat rains spawn deadly landslides</a></div><p>The OCD also reported nine people missing.</p><p>More than half a million people have been affected by the combined effects of the typhoon and the southwest monsoon.</p><p>&quot;As of this morning, we already have around 112,000 families na talagang directly affected nitong bagyo and the habagat. That translates to about 514,000 individuals coming from 404 barangays. That covers Region 2, 3, Calabarzon, 5, 6, NIR, 9, 10, 11, 12, and BARMM. So from Mindanao to Luzon &#x27;yan,&quot; Alejandro said.</p><p>Authorities are currently operating 77 evacuation centers sheltering around 3,000 families.</p><p>&quot;Pero meron din around 7,000 families na wala sa evacuation center, pero inaasikaso din natin,&quot; he added.</p><p>Initial reports also showed damage to 153 houses, while six areas remain without electricity. </p><p>Several roads and bridges have also been affected by the bad weather.</p><p>Sea travel has also been suspended in 73 ports from Region 2, Region 3, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Region 5, and Region 6.</p><p>&quot;Meron tayong mga stranded passengers numbering to more or less 300 individuals. And then 176 rolling cargos ang stranded sa iba&#x27;t ibang pantalan. And then several vessels,&quot; he said.</p><p>Classes were also suspended in some areas.</p><p>&quot;In terms naman of yung nag-declare ng suspension kahapon pa, umabot na po ng 370 local government units na nag-suspend ng classes and some work,&quot; Alejandro said.</p><p>The Department of Social Welfare and Development already distributed P16.4 million worth of food and non-food assistance.</p><p>Alejandro said the government has also pre-positioned 4.7 million family food packs and 364,000 ready-to-eat food boxes nationwide.</p><p>He said the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine Coast Guard remain on standby to augment local government disaster response.</p><p>The OCD has placed Region 5, the Negros Island Region, and Region 12 under red alert, while the rest of the country remains under blue or heightened alert.</p><p>Alejandro also warned residents in Luzon, especially those who are living in landslide and flash-flood prone areas, to prepare for preemptive evacuation.</p><p>&quot;Starting mamayang hapon, bukas, hanggang Sunday, dito na &#x27;yan sa Luzon, &#x27;yong forecasted na heavy rains.
