Gigie Cruz, ABS-CBN News"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Water levels in Angat Dam dropped to 156.37 masl on July 10, two days before reaching a historic low of 155.91 masl on Sunday, July 12, 2026. <em>Gigie Cruz, ABS-CBN News</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA -- While the water level of Angat Dam in Bulacan has inched up after Typhoon Inday (international name: Bavi) and the southwest monsoon or habagat brought rains, the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) said the water is still below the critical level.</p><p>Based on the dam information of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, Angat Dam&#x27;s water level is at 156.09 meters as of Monday morning, slightly higher than the 155.91 meters logged on Sunday.</p><p>&quot;Hindi pa natin masasabi na komportable na ang lebel ng Angat Dam kasi kasalukuyang lebel, ito pa rin &#x27;yung sinasabi nating lowest na level po na naranasan ng Angat Dam mula pa ho nung mga 2010,&quot; NWRB Executive Director Sevillo David Jr. told state television PTV&#x27;s Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon.</p><p>&quot;Dahil mababa po ang lebel ng Angat Dam ay wala ho munang release para sa irigasyon at pina-prioritize po natin ang water supply sa Metro Manila,&quot; he said.</p><p>The critical low level of Angat Dam is 160 meters while its minimum operating level is 180 meters.
