MANILA— Malacanang on Monday explained the &quot;missing&quot; two kilos of rice received by beneficiaries in a rice distribution event in Mandaluyong.This comes amidst complaints that the supposed 10-kilo per sack of rice given during the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang event, headed by First Lady Liza Marcos, only contained eight kilos.&quot;Hindi po ito nanaisin ng Pangulo. Kung ano dapat na ibigay sa taumbayan dapat ibigay,&quot; Palace Press Officer Claire Castro told reporters during the Monday briefing.Castro says of 29,500 sacks of rice given to Mandaluyong for the distribution, around 50 sacks only contained eight kilos of rice. &quot;In-acknowledge po ito ng supplier at sila po ang nagkaroon ng pagkakamali dito at humingi na po daw sila ng paumanhin sa Mandaluyong LGU,&quot; Castro said. &quot;So, ang aksiyon po ng supplier, ang sabi po ang pangako ay papalitan ng buo na 10 kilos ang sako na nakakuha ng eight kilos, bibigyan ng additional na 10 kilos na bigas.
