Rodante Marcoleta to be brought to the UP-Philippine General Hospital on Tuesday for an independent medical examination on his condition.This, after the senator was declared fit to travel by the doctors at the Philippine National Police (PNP) General Hospital.PNP General Hospital Internal Medicine Department chief PLt. Col. Benaly Bayani said Monday that Marcoleta is clinically stable and his blood pressure is now under control.In a resolution dated July 13, 2026, the anti-graft court directed PNP officials to bring Marcoleta to UP-PGH on July 14 for the examination and to return him immediately to the PNP General Hospital afterward.The anti-graft court also directed UP-PGH Director Dr. Gerardo Legaspi, or an authorized representative, to submit a medical report and recommendation by July 15  and to personally appear before the court with the attending physicians to testify on the findings and results of the examination.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/13/marcoleta-already-fit-to-travel-after-bout-of-mild-pneumonia-1130">READ: Marcoleta already &#x27;fit to travel&#x27; after bout of mild pneumonia</a></div>
