<p>MANILA — Actress Angel Locsin called out Senator Robin Padilla in a social media post on Thursday. </p><p>“Tama na, Kuya. Gising na. Hindi pa huli ang lahat,” the actress said.</p><p>Locsin&#x27;s remarks came after Padilla declared that he is a communist while <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/14/robin-padilla-grills-lotoc-on-promotions-operation-romanov-1805">questioning the testimony of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)-Bangsamoro Regional Director Jeremy Lotoc </a>during the fifth day of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/15/wrap-nbi-exec-weathers-questions-on-credibility-qualifications-0024">WRAP: NBI exec weathers questions on credibility, qualifications</a></div><p>In her statement, Locsin commended Padilla for his honesty but also raised pointed questions.</p><p>“Sa statement mo na to, kahit papaano, natuwa akong makita ulit &#x27;yung dating Robin Padilla na nakilala ko. At least, honest ka ngayon, Kuya,” she said.</p><p>“Ang tanong ko lang, nasaan ka nung panahong nire-red-tag ako kahit alam mong hindi totoo? Actually, kasama mo pa nga at kachikahan &#x27;yung mga nangre-red-tag. Naghugas-kamay at pumikit sa katotohanan.”</p><p>Locsin pointed out that Padilla topped the 2022 senatorial elections despite being a Muslim, saying this appeared to contradict his support for Apollo Quiboloy, who is currently detained.</p><p>“Pero bakit parang mas ipinaglalaban mo pa si Quiboloy? Naniniwala ka ba talaga na siya ang &#x27;appointed son of God&#x27;?” she added.</p><p>She also took issue with Padilla&#x27;s position on China, ending her statement with an appeal to remember whom public officials ultimately serve.</p><p>“Kahit paano, alam kong halos pareho tayong landas na dinaanan. Galing sa hirap, nagtrabaho ng maaga, tinangkilik at nakapagpasaya ng mga tao.
