<p>MANILA - Despite doctors advising him to remain hospitalized, 78-year-old Fabio Norberte Sr.—who had been confined with pneumonia—made one final effort to be by his son&#x27;s side.</p><p>On Thursday, he attended the first night of the wake for his son, Fabio Norberte Jr., who was fatally stabbed in Caloocan on July 14, despite doctors&#x27; concerns that the emotional strain could worsen his condition. </p><p>&quot;Para makita &#x27;tong anak ko... Ayaw sana akong palabasin.... Nakiusap lang ako. Pinagbigyan lang ako... Masakit ang loob ko dahil nakita ko nandyan na nakahiga tapos pinakita yung mga video video sakin.
