Arestado ang dalawang drug suspect matapos makipagbarilan sa mga pulis kasunod ng buy-bust operation sa Barangay F. De Castro, General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite nitong Martes ng gabi, Hulyo 21.Ayon kay PLt. Sarah Jane Drio, Chief PIO ng Cavite Provincial Police Office, natunugan ng mga suspek, na may edad 45 at 21, ang presensya ng Drug Enforcement Team matapos ang transaksyon sa poseur buyer.Mabilis aniyang sumakay sa itim na sasakyan ang mga suspek at tumakas habang pinaputukan ang tumutugis na mga pulis.&quot;Nauwi sa isang armadong komprontasyon ang isinagawang buy-bust operation... Dahil sa agarang banta sa kanilang kaligtasan, napilitan ang mga operatiba na gumanti ng putok habang nagpapatuloy sa pagtugis,&quot; pahayag ni PLt. Drio.Makalipas ang ilang minutong habulan, naharang ng mga pulis ang sasakyan ng mga suspek sa bahagi ng Mayor&#x27;s Drive sa parehong barangay.Nakuha sa kanila ang limang gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nasa ₱34,000 ang halaga, 15 gramo ng dried marijuana na ₱1,800 ang halaga, at dalawang hindi lisensyadong baril na may mga bala.Isasailalim sa ballistics testing ng Cavite Forensic Unit ang mga nakumpiskang baril upang malaman kung nagamit ang mga ito sa iba pang krimen, habang patuloy na sinusuri kung may mga pending warrant of arrest ang mga suspek.“Patuloy pang bine-verify kung ang itong mga suspect na nahuli ay sangkot sa iba pang krimen at sa iba pang kaso kung sila man ay mayroong pending warrant of arrest,” dagdag ng opisyal.Ayon sa Ex-O ng barangay na si Eliseo Salazar, tumulong silang mapanatili ang seguridad sa lugar at walang nadamay na residente sa barilan.“Pagkatapos ng putukan, sinecure namin kaagad &#x27;yung magkabilang side ng kalsada para hindi mapunta ang mga tao sa scene,” ani Salazar. &quot;Bine-verify pa namin sa Barangay kung taga-saan talaga sila.&quot;Kasalukuyang nakakulong sa GMA Municipal Police Station ang mga suspek, habang inihahanda ang mga kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act at Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
