George Calvelo, ABS-CBN News </span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Retirees of Philippine National Bank urged the Supreme Court on Wednesday to finally settle their claim for seven years worth of Cost of Living Allowance or COLA from 1989 up to 1996. </p><p>In 2023, the high court denied the petition for certiorari filed by PNB and upheld the 2016 ruling of the Court of Appeals which agreed with the findings of the Regional Trial Court that the retirees are entitled to the payment of their COLA and other allowances.</p><p>According to petitioner Atty.
