<div><br/></div><p>MANILA — The Sandiganbayan Sixth Division on Friday convicted former Department of Agriculture undersecretary Jerry Pacturan and detained businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles of 10 counts each of malversation over the alleged diversion of P50 million intended for farm input assistance.</p><p>The anti-graft court sentenced Pacturan to a prison term of around 14 to 19 years for each count of malversation. He was also perpetually disqualified from holding public office.</p><p>Napoles was also convicted of 10 counts of graft, while Pacturan was acquitted of the graft charges.</p><p>The court ordered Pacturan and Napoles to reimburse P50 million to the National Treasury. </p><div><em>More details to follow.</em></div><div><br style="caret-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"/></div>
