Martin Romualdez and other respondents to explain their side on the flood control fund-related complaints against them through a counter-affidavit.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/27/marcos-says-multiple-charges-vs-romualdez-to-be-filed-soon-1621">&#x27;Hindi ako pangulo ng aking pamilya&#x27;: Marcos says multiple charges vs Romualdez to be filed soon</a></div><p>A panel of investigators from the Office of the Ombudsman filed last week a supplemental complaint for preliminary investigation agains Romualdez, former congressman Zaldy Co, and others for plunder, direct and indirect bribery, graft, and money laundering in relation to the flood control scandal.</p><p>“When all parties have submitted, the case will be submitted for resolution,” Assistant Ombudsman Mico Clavano said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/24/ombudsman-seeks-preliminary-probe-vs-romualdez-co-for-plunder-money-laundering-1240">Ombudsman panel seeks preliminary probe vs Romualdez, Co for plunder, bribery, money laundering</a></div><p>The respondents have 15 days upon receipt of the order to file a counter-affidavit.</p><p>The complaint filed is not yet a charge before a court.
