<p>MANILA — Four more lawmakers are seeking a House inquiry into the US-led Pax Silica initiative and how it will affect the environment, the economy, and society.</p><p>President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/7/27/marcos-says-cagayan-to-host-spaceport-pax-silica-as-ticket-to-ai-industry-1914">highlighted Pax Silica in his State of the Nation Address</a> on Monday, saying it would create &quot;an advanced manufacturing and logistics center&quot; that would bring jobs and boost the Philippine economy.</p><p>Akbayan Party-List Reps. Percival Cendana, Chel Diokno, and Dadah Kiram Ismula, and Dinagat Islands Rep.
