Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Prosecutors in the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte raised their concern over a spliced <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/28/fact-check-spliced-video-ni-chel-diokno-kumalat-nang-ibahagi-ni-sen-pia-cayetano-2001">video of the oral argument of Akbayan Rep. Chel Diokno </a>last July 20 with the text “Nagbabakasali lang?”</p><p>“Collective na opinion ng prosecution panel dyan ay ito ay nakababahala na this is very concerning and alarming dahil dapat ang impormasyon na makuha ng mga kababayan natin tukol sa mga nangyayari sa paglitis nito ay accurate, dapat kung ano yung mismong nangyayari during the proceedings,” prosecution spokesperson Atty. Jay Tolosa said. </p><p>Tolosa however said they did not want to put any senator-judge “on the spot” and would not file a manifestation regarding the incident. </p><p>“But gusto namin klaruhin, we don&#x27;t want to put any specific member of the impeachment court on the spot. We don&#x27;t want to call them out. And we don&#x27;t want to ascribe any negative intentions on the part of anyone. Ang sinasabi lang po namin dito dahil maaring marami hong kapaliwanagan dyan.
