Pero kung may pasok po kasi kaagad ang Nov. 3, baka po kasi magluwasan kaagad ‘yung mga kababayan nating umuwi sa mga probinsya ng Nov. 2 at hindi na makaboto sa mga presinto,” Comelec chairman George Garcia said in a chance interview on Wednesday.</p><p>“Samantalang kung ang Nov. 3 ay wala ring pasok, at least kahit lumuwas sila ng Nov. 3 na papuntang Maynila o papunta sa mga lugar na du’n sila nagtatrabaho o du’n sila pansamantalang nakatira, kahit paano po, safe tayo na ang Nov. 2, makakaboto ‘yung mga kababayan natin,” he further explained.</p><p>Aspirants aiming for barangay and SK positions may file their certificate of candidacy on Sept. 28 to Oct. 5.</p><p>The election period is set from Oct. 3 to Nov. 9.
