<p>Malacañang maintained on Friday that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. followed the legal process and the law in authorizing the Bureau of Internal Revenue to submit Vice President Sara Duterte&#x27;s income tax records to the Senate impeachment court. </p><p>This was in response to Duterte’s spouse, lawyer Manases &quot;Mans&quot; Carpio, who earlier said that the release of their tax records to the Senate impeachment court should undergo &quot;judicial review.&quot;</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/30/bir-submits-duterte-tax-records-to-impeachment-court-1102"><strong>BIR submits Duterte tax records to impeachment court with Marcos authorization</strong></a></div><p>“Kung siya po ay may issue patungkol po dito, karapatan naman po niya na magsampa ng anumang aksyon at tignan lang po natin kung ano ang magiging resulta nito.
