MANILA — The House of Representatives will build on the transparency reforms introduced last year when it deliberates on the proposed 2027 national budget, according to House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy.He said this will help ensure that there will be no issues in the proposed spending program for next year.“Nakita naman natin na maayos naman, at nakita nating may reporma. Nakita rin natin na may transparency. Sa tingin ko, lalu pa natin bibigyan ng mahahalagang security measures to make sure na ‘yung ating ipapasang 2027 budget ay talagang maayos,” Dy said in a press conference in Isabela.Among the reforms introduced in the budget process last year are the creation of a Budget Amendments and Review Subcommittee (BARSc) and the livestreaming of the budget bicameral committee deliberations.
