MANILA -- New chairpersons were elected for two panels at the House of Representatives on Wednesday.Trabaho Party List Representative Johanne Monich Bautista replaced Davao Oriental 2nd District Representative Cheeno Almario as chairperson of the House Committee on Social Services.Albay 2nd District Representative Carlos Andres Loria was elected chairperson of the House Special Committee on Persons with Disability, replacing Tawi-Tawi Representative Dimszar Sali.The following were elected committee vice chairpersons:House Committee on Climate Change: San Juan City Representative Ysabel Zamora House Committee on Public Order and Safety: Kamalayan Party-List Representative Caroline Tanchay House Committee on Science and Technology: Bukidnon 1st District Representative Jose Manuel Alba and Sultan Kudarat 2nd District Representative Bella SuansingMeantime, 4Ps Party-List Representative JC Abalos was elected House Deputy Minority Leader.
