Arestado at sugatan ang isang lalaki na nangholdap umano sa isang pasahero ng jeepney sa Muntinlupa City nitong Martes. Ayon sa Southern Police District, bandang alas-2:15 ng hapon nang rumesponde ang mga pulis sa East Service Road sa Barangay Sucat, Muntinlupa City, matapos ireport ng isang 18-anyos na estudyante sa Unified 911 na hinoldap umano siya habang sakay ng jeepney na biyaheng Alabang.Ayon sa paunang imbestigasyon, nagdeklara umano ng holdap ang suspek at tinutukan ng baril ang biktima bago sapilitang kinuha ang cellphone na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P37,000 at wallet nito.Tumakas umano ang suspek at tumakbo patungo sa footbridge na nagdudugtong sa East at West Service Road.Agad siyang hinabol ng mga rumespondeng pulis.Nang maabutan, bumunot umano at itinutok ng suspek ang baril sa mga pulis, na nauwi sa pambuno.Sa gitna ng komosyon, pumutok ang baril at tinamaan sa leeg ang suspek.Rumesponde naman ang Barangay Sucat Medical Team at dinala ang suspek sa Ospital ng Muntinlupa para malapatan ng lunas.Narekober mula sa suspek ang isang kalibre .45 baril, magazine na may tatlong bala. Nakuha rin ang cellphone at itim na wallet ng biktima na naglalaman ng iba’t ibang identification cards, at isang sling bag.Nasa kustodiya na ng pulisya ang suspek at sasailalim sa inquest proceedings para sa kaukulang mga kaso.“Ang mga gumagamit ng baril para mangbiktima ng mga commuter at nagbabanta sa seguridad ng mga rumerespondeng pulis ay dapat tugisin at panagutin sa batas. Hindi papayag ang NCRPO na malagay sa panganib ang mga pasahero, ang ating mga pulis, at takasan ng mga kriminal ang kanilang mga ginawa,” sabi ni National Capital Region Police Office chief PMGen Anthony A.
