Mark Demayo, ABS-CBN News/File"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo reacts as the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality presents a portion of a conversation with Wang Fugui, who claimed that dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo is a spy, during a hearing in Pasay City on October 8, 2024. <em>Mark Demayo, ABS-CBN News/File</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA -- Authorities served a new warrant of arrest on former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Guo Hua Ping, also known as Alice Leal Guo, inside the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City on Friday night.</p><p>According to the Manila Police District – Jose Abad Santos Police Station (PS-7), the Warrant and Subpoena Section executed the court order against the 40-year-old Chinese national at around 6:00 PM on August 14.</p><p>Guo is charged with violating Section 3(e) of Republic Act No. 3019, or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act. Court records show three separate cases filed against her, with a recommended bail of P90,000 for each count.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/2025/12/5/alice-guo-transferred-to-women-s-prison-in-mandaluyong-2234">READ: Alice Guo transferred to women&#x27;s prison in Mandaluyong</a></div><p>The warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 67 in Pasig City on August 7, 2026.</p><p>The return of the warrant to the issuing court is currently pending.</p><p>Meanwhile, CIW personnel confirmed that the accused underwent booking procedures, including the taking of her mugshot.</p><p>Guo and several others were previously found guilty of human trafficking in connection with the operations of a POGO hub in Tarlac.</p><p>In addition, the Bureau of Internal Revenue has filed a tax evasion case amounting to over P1 billion against Guo for alleged non-payment of correct taxes.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/6/11/bir-files-p1-billion-tax-evasion-case-vs-alice-guo-1517">READ: BIR files P1 billion tax evasion case vs Alice Guo</a></div>
