Amando Virgil Ligutan is expected to &quot;air his side&quot; as the impeachment trial enters its seventh week.</p><p>The defense panel on Wednesday raised issues about Ligutan&#x27;s social media post about misleading questions as something &quot;troubling&quot;.</p><p>Without naming names, Ligutan said that misleading questions are not allowed on cross examination, which the defense said was alluding to Atty. Kristine Ferrer&#x27;s statement.</p><div><a class="fr-green" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/8/12/ligutan-maintains-no-malice-with-social-media-post-on-misleading-questions-1752"><strong>Ligutan maintains ‘no malice, nothing illegal’ with social media post about misleading questions </strong></a> </div><p>&quot;Sinabi naman ng presiding officer ay bibigyan nila ng pagkakataon si Atty Ligutan to also air his side after the Clerk of Court compiles yung nakikita nila na posting on social media,&quot; said House Prosecution Panel spokesperson Cong. Zia Alonto Adiong. </p><p>&quot;We expect the Presiding Officer will hold true to his words and we also do not doubt he will allow Atty Ligutan na makapagsalita in the interest of fair play,&quot; he added.</p><p>In an earlier media interview, Ligutan maintained that there was no ill intent in his post about misleading questions. </p><p>“No misleading questions is allowed is as true as the sun is rising from the east and setting at the west. 1+1=2.
