MAYNILA -- Stranded ang ilang motorista at residente dahil sa baha na dulot ng tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulang dala ng habagat sa bahagi ng E. Rodriguez Avenue sa Quezon City nitong Lunes ng hapon.Si Marlo Calupe, higit dalawang oras nang stranded matapos sunduin ang anak sa paaralan dahil ayaw nilang lumusong sa halos higit 5 feet na lalim ng baha.“Galing sa eskwelahan mga ala-1, malalim na sir,” ani Calupe. May ilang mga motorista naman na ipinarada na lang muna ang mga sasakyan sa gilid at naghihintay na humupa ang baha.Isa si Christopher Dulay sa mga motoristang hindi tumuloy tumawid sa tubig dahil aniya kahit umikot sila ay wala ring madaraanan na kalsada.Ayon sa mga residente, umaga pa nang tumaas ang tubig sa kanila sa pag-apaw ng San Juan River kaya&#x27;t ang ilan ay naghintay sa mga kalapit na establisimyento at doon naghintay na humupa ang baha. Si Elizabeth Ecleo, may apat na oras nang naghihintay na humupa ang baha. “Nakaka-ano naman lumusong kasi sobrang dumi,” sabi ni Elizabeth Ecleo.Bagamat maraming naghihintay humupa ang baha, may ilan ding sinuong na ang tubig para lang makauwi.“Okay naman po, medyo nakakapagod lang, wala stuck up na rin po mga sasakyan eh hindi po makatawid eh,” sabi ni Russel Roa. Ilang heavy equipment ng Department of Public Works and Highways ang dumating rin sa lugar at nagsakay ng ilang mga pasahero.Ang iba naman ay sumakay sa mga bangka para makatawid, tulad ni Jay Jalos na nagbayad umano ng P200 para maisakay at hatid ang asawa papasok  sa isang ospital sa lugar.Galing umano sila sa Caloocan pero sa bawat daanan patungo sa isang ospital sa lugar, hindi umano mawawala ang baha.Iniwan niya ang motor sa Araneta Avenue dahil hindi kayang tawirin ang higit 5 feet na lalim ng baha.“Nagdecide na lang kami na mag-bangka kaysa magpahupa ng baha eh alam naman namin na hindi na huhupa ito eh,” ani Jalos.Pasado ala-6 na ng gabi nang magsimulang humpa ang baha sa lugar.
