Jennifer Gannaban, spokesperson ng QCPD, layunin nitong magkaroon ng iisang protocol at pagkilos para maprotektahan ang mga paaralan at ang mga taong nasa loob nito.</p><p>Sa unang hakbang na <strong>Identify</strong>, kailangang tukuyin at alamin ang banta. Pinapayuhan ang mga estudyante at guro na manatiling alerto, suriin ang sitwasyon at huwag lumapit sa kahina-hinalang tao.</p><p>Kapag nakumpirmang may banta, agad itong i-report sa guro o school administrator. Maaari ring tumawag sa emergency numbers na 911 o 122, kung may access sa telepono.</p><p>Pinaalalahanan din ng QCPD ang publiko na iwasang magpakalat ng hindi beripikadong impormasyon upang hindi magdulot ng panic.</p><p>Sa <strong>Avoid</strong>, ang pangunahing hakbang ay ang paglayo sa banta. Pinapayuhan ang mga nasa paaralan na manatiling kalmado, humanap ng ligtas na lugar at lumikas kung may ligtas na pagkakataon.</p><p>Sa <strong>Deny</strong>, kung hindi na makalabas, dapat isara at i-lock ang pinto at harangan ito kung maaari upang hindi makapasok ang armadong suspek.</p><p>“Kung paparating na po yung armed na perpetrator is tumakbo na po sila sa isang safe na lugar. Kung nasa loob naman po sila ng classroom at wala naman pagkakataon na tumakas or maiwasan dahil papasok na yung perpetrator ang gagawin po nila is to deny, isara nila pintuan,” sabi ng tagapagsalita ng QCPD.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/8/19/remulla-links-roblox-to-radicalization-after-zamboanga-shooting-1506">Remulla links Roblox to &#x27;radicalization&#x27; of children after deadly Zamboanga shooting</a></div><p>Kapag nasa loob na ng ligtas na lugar, pinapayuhan ding i-silent ang mga cellphone at iwasang gamitin ang mga ito maliban kung kailangan para sa emergency response. </p><p>“Pag po nasa loob, inaadvise po natin talaga na i-silent nila ang phone nila huwag na muna gumamit maliban na lang po kung tatawagan sila ng 911 o 122, kung maaari patayin nila ang ilang para hindi sila ma-access ng threat,” sabi ni Gannaban.</p><p>Ang <strong>Defend</strong> naman ang itinuturing na huling paraan kung wala nang ibang ligtas na opsyon at direktang nanganganib ang buhay.</p><p>Ayon sa QCPD, maaaring gamitin ang mga bagay na nasa paligid gaya ng upuan, mesa, libro, bag o fire extinguisher bilang panangga o pantanggol sa sarili.</p><p>“Last resort na talaga iyon dahil ang goal talaga natin is umiwas dapat makatakbo sila sa isang safe na lugar para hindi nila directly ma-engage yung armed na perpetrator,” sabi niya.</p><p>Nakatakdang magsagawa ang QCPD ng simulation exercises sa mga paaralan sa Quezon City upang maituro at maisanay ang mga estudyante, guro at school administrators sa IADD protocol.</p><p>Muling pinaalalahanan ng pulisya ang mga magulang at estudyante na alamin ang emergency numbers sa kanilang lugar at gamitin ang unified 911 para sa agarang emergency concerns.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>IBA PANG MGA ULAT:</strong></div><div><strong><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="960" height="540" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-TyFRt6-ZaQ?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="960" height="540" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bHNRv3z09HM?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></strong></div>
