<p>MANILA — The Bureau of Customs has issued a warrant of seizure and detention on the luxury car registered to actor Derek Ramsay over<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/8/24/customs-to-confiscate-derek-ramsay-s-sports-car-1010"> alleged tax misdeclaration.</a></p><p>BOC Deputy Chief of Staff Chris Noel Bendijo said Manila International Container Port District Collector Geoffrey de Vera issued the warrant, which will be implemented Tuesday.</p><p>&quot;Sa kabutihang palad naman po, kahapon ay nakipag-ugnayan siya sa amin at siya ay nangako ng kanyang pakikipagtulungan at kooperasyon,&quot; Bendijo said on state television PTV’s Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon.</p><p>(Fortunately, [Ramsay] coordinated with us yesterday and promised his help and cooperation.)</p><p>Bendijo said Ramsay would have 15 days from service of the warrant to submit documents to refute customs findings.</p><p>The bureau could issue a forefeiture order if Ramsay&#x27;s documents are insufficient.</p><p>Once the forfeiture is finalized, the luxury car may be auctioned off.</p><p>Bendijo said the sports car’s value is P48 million, but customs entry data showed a declared value of P3 million when it was imported in 2021.</p><p>The BOC said it will also ask its officials who were responsible for the appraisal, the consignee, shipper, and customs broker to explain.</p><p>The result of the investigation, Bendijo said, will be out in two to three weeks.</p><div> </div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div style="text-align:center"><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LLxnEUI9weg?si=BR3XMn9AH4BnphMq" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>
