NCSC to conduct cash gift distribution drive for eligible seniors in September

<p>MANILA - The National Commission for Senior Citizen (NCSC) is set to conduct a cash gift distribution to qualified senior citizens under the Expanded Centenarian Act on September 2.</p><p>This was announced by NCSC on Thursday after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered the faster release of the P10,000 cash gift to qualified senior citizens under the said law.</p><p>The NCSC said beneficiary senior citizens aged 80, 85, 90, 95, and 100 will received cash gifts.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/health-science/2026/7/17/1-in-10-pinoys-a-senior-citizen-ageing-population-continues-to-rise-in-ph-1736"><strong>1 in 10 Pinoys a senior citizen: Ageing population continues to rise in PH </strong></a> </div><p>NCSC Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer Ma. Merceditas Gutierrez assured that qualified beneficiaries will have their share under the law.</p><p>&quot;Ang bawat senior citizen na kwalipikado sa cash gift ay dapat mapaglingkuran nang mahusay at may dignidad.
