Karen De Guzman, ASB-CBN News </p><div><br style="caret-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"/></div><p>MANILA — A student who identified himself as a “shooter” in an online post has been identified as the person of interest in a security threat that prompted La Salle Green Hills in Mandaluyong City to<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/8/27/la-salle-green-hills-shifts-to-online-classes-due-to-security-concern-0153"> suspend face-to-face classes</a> on Thursday.</p><p>The school shifted to synchronous online classes after the threat was reported late Wednesday evening.</p><p>Mandaluyong police chief PCol. Reynan Patam said authorities confirmed that the person of interest is a student of the school, although police withheld his grade level and other details as the investigation continues.</p><p>“Nag-post sa Facebook na siya daw ay shooter. Ganun ang pagkakasabi niya. ‘Yung message from mga students and then, nag-reach out sa parents.
